ILC Academy has been helping students learn and maintain their English abilities for 12 years. We teach elementary and middle school students with 12 students per class. We are now looking for a motivated and energetic Native English female teacher. Come join our team of 3 western teachers and 7 Korean teaching partners in a friendly place in Suwon. Suwon is near Seoul, only half an hour away.
1. Period of Contract
August 26th, 2013 – August 25th, 2014 (Applicants should expect to come a few days before contract start date to get familiar with what they are going to do here.)
2. Teaching Subjects
Phonics, Writing, Science, Social Studies, Reading and Grammar. Most of our books are imported from the USA.
3. Teaching hours
3:30pm to 9:25pm Monday to Friday (It may get changed during summer and winter break)
4. Qualifications:
B.A. degree in any field (preferably in Education)
5. Salary and Benefits
? 2.1 million KPW per month
? Overtime pay: 20,000 won per hour
? National Health Insurance: 50/50
? Contributions to the Korean Teachers Pension
? Severance pay: 2.1 million KPW after completion of a 12 month contract.
? Accommodation: Single furnished studio apartment provided, within walking distance from the Academy.
? Free round trip airfare.
? 10 days paid vacation plus additional national holidays
